1. Overview & Data Philosophy

At CodeForge, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. CodeForge is designed with a client-side execution architecture: WebAssembly containers execute directly inside your browser window, minimizing unnecessary server-side data retention.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit CodeForge, authenticate via Google or GitHub OAuth, edit code in our workspace, and use our transactional features.

2. Google OAuth & User Data Policy

CodeForge supports Google Sign-In as a primary authentication mechanism. When you choose to sign in with Google, our application requests access to the following non-sensitive Google user scopes:

  • `openid`: Used to securely verify your unique Google user identity via cryptographic ID tokens.
  • `https://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.email`: Grants access to your primary Google email address, used as your unique account key and for transactional emails.
  • `https://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.profile`: Grants access to your display name and profile picture avatar for display inside the CodeForge workspace header.

3. Google Limited Use Compliance Statement

Official Google API Services Limited Use Notice

✓ NO DATA SALE
